LANGUAGE
The official language of Saint-Barthélemy is French, used in administration and education. However, English is frequently used, especially in tourist and commercial interactions. Variants of Creole, as well as other languages such as Portuguese and Spanish, are also present thanks to expatriate communities.

CLIMATE
Saint-Barthélemy enjoys a tropical climate, with a dry season (December to May) and a wet season (June to November). The latter can be punctuated by tropical cyclones and thunderstorms.
Air temperatures range from 18°C to 34°C, with an annual average close to 27°C.
Sea temperatures remain pleasant all year round, fluctuating between 26°C and 29°C.
CURRENCY
The euro (€) is the official currency of Saint-Barthélemy.
- US dollars (USD) are accepted only in exceptional circumstances, mainly in certain tourist shops.
- Major credit cards are widely accepted.
- Exchange offices and cash dispensers are available on the island.
- Off-site checks are rarely accepted.
